Bio
Work
I’m a family physician at Lakeview Family Health Team and Lakelands Public Health. I have a medical degree from the University of Toronto, where I also did my postgraduate family medicine residency. I’m an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Queen’s University. I write, research, and speak on issues relating to primary care, rural health, women’s health, equity in medicine, and wellness pseudoscience.
Life
I was born and raised in Toronto and spent many years in the city in one classroom or another. After finishing school and working as a physician locum for a short time, I moved to beautiful east Northumberland County to start a farm with my husband. This is where we live now with our three kids, our dog Lowry, and an assortment of chickens with silly names.
